Round Robin Competition entry

This photo is my entry to the weekly Round Robin competition.

The Theme for the competition in ' GONE'

This picture shows a bridge on the Kenilworth to Berkswell branch line that was opened in 1884.
The tracks have long since been lifted, and the bridges go nowhere.

  1. Nice view! Recently the railway track from Malaysia into our country, Singapore, have been removed when the train ended their journey nearer to our border , rather than into town. Lots of rail tracks been removed and returned to Malaysia. The land that the track used to sit on has been changed into a green corridor for citizens, until redevelopments taken place in the future.

  2. Hi, and welcome to the Robins! Oh, this is gorgeous, perfectly framed and evocative. I grew up with an old railroad bridge near my home, but it wasn't in good condition like this one. Excellent shot!

  3. Very Good composition Dave, colours are nice well done.

  4. wat a terrific capture! not only is the view of the old arch bridge good but also the DOF of the endless path going deep into the woods!

all in all a super shot!

  5. A bit like yours at the warren Mike, good shot
